Pie or Cake?

Postby Zith » Sun Sep 24, 2006 9:27 pm

With the spam people infiltrating, I figured I'd add a real, important topic.

Pie or cake?

I vote pie.

It's as hybrid damnit, it has both cake-like and pie-like qualities!

But yeah, Pie FTW!

Seriously how long did this debate go on in the old board? I remeber at one point changing my sig to include cheesecake. Cheesecake is too good to be lumped in with any other catagory. CHEESECAKE FOREVER

Cheesecake implies the use of cheese, i.e. spolied milk.

(Beautiful lady in evening gown enters, stage right as Man on set finishes setting a dinner table:)
MAN: "Hello gorgeous, I'm so happy you came. I've made us a fine dinner, complete with an nice Italian Nero d'Avola, and a dessert of, well, of spoiled milk."
(Beautiful lady in evening gown spins on her heel and exits stage right)

Now, PIE, on the other hand is good for dessert, particularly for sharing on the couch to a rerun of The Big Chill. Serve with a glass of chilled port, just make sure to not wear your (favorite and oh, so comfy) Yogi Bear shorts.
Retired. Goodbye, and thanks for all the tips.

Pumpkin pecan cheesecake ummmmmmmm

My Mom makes for holidays, and even now that we're all grown my siblings and I will (and have) fight physically for the last piece :D

But that said, I'm not anti-cake.
